Eila Adams, 36, from Toronto, Canada, has been flashing her b**bs and ‘private regions’ to people in New York this month in a bid to normalise n*dity and liberate women.
A Canadian broadcaster and content creator has spent six days flashing around New York City ‘in a bid to liberate women’.
Self-proclaimed exhibitionist Eila Adams, 36, has explained how showing her b**bs and ‘pvt regions’ to the public has been her nod to gender equality.
“If men can walk around shirtless without fear of reprisal, so too should women,” she said. “It’s normal to be n*de, and by flashing folks as I go about my day, I’m just having a bit of cheeky fun and challenging the status quo.”
The 36-year-old added: “N*dity has been such an important part of my life. I do not understand anyone who has negative feelings towards being n*ked. We’re all born this way, and we have to embrace our own bodies, and we have to love everyone else’s amazing bodies.”
Eila has generally been received positively during her tour this month, though there have been a few awkward moments.
“I was flashing on an elevator and I man walked in while I had my leg up on the wall,” she said. “He was shocked and I was embarrassed the rest of the ride down.
“I have had some negative comments but I don’t let the haters get me down. If you don’t like it, don’t look. Most people don’t even notice I’m doing anything, but if I do get caught I’ll get a smile, a thumbs up, a laugh. T*ts can light up a person’s day.”
Eila, a Toronto native, is mindful about where she chooses to flash though, with her avoiding places of national significance like cenotaphs or the 9/11 memorial. She also has a golden rule – to never get caught.
“For over 30 years, it has been legal for women to go t*pless in New York City, which many women have embraced as a show of gender equality,” she said. “I think flashing is entertaining. But it’s also a way of normalising t*plessness.
“I believe women should have the same rights as men to go t*pless in public if they choose to. For me, it’s a lifestyle.”
Eila has been sharing her flashing escapades over on her @flexapeeler Instagram account, which boasts more than 72,000 followers. One post saw her flashing at the American Museum of Natural History, as she captioned the post: “Museum of Natural T*tstory: T*ts from around the World.”
The post racked up thousands of likes as fans couldn’t help make cheeky jokes. One person said: “Lol I love this. No matter where you are, always in your natural habit*t.” While another added: “Now, there is an exhibit I can get behind.”
In addition to her flashing antics, Eila works as an anchor for N*ked News and as a glamour model. She recently took part in Toronto’s World Naked Bike Ride, an event aimed at highlighting the excessive use of oil and urban pollution while promoting cycling safety.
“There’s something incredibly liberating about cruising through the city on a bike, feeling the wind against my skin, and making great memories as we all pedalled through the heart of this incredible city,” she shared. “This was an amazing and fun experience, and I strongly recommend everyone to try biking n*ked at least once in their lives.”
